RIP Interim Hoboken Superintendent Peter Carter from 2009-2011

I received this note recently concerning Peter Carter. Some of my regular readers will recall Peter served as the interim Hoboken Superintendent from Summer 2009 to early 2011.

It is with great sadness that the Brooklyn Prep Alumni Association shares with you the news that Peter E. Carter the BPAA honorary alumnus of 2019 and the only teacher of color in BP's history, passed away on Monday, May 8, 2023 due to heart ailments. Peter was 79 years old.
