Dr. Miguel Hernandez was a Finalist for Hoboken Superintendent Position in 2015 But Lost to Miss Johnson

Today's post is dedicated to an anonymous person who posts under the title of "HobokenDefender"- this person does Johnson no favor by making personal attacks on social media.

In 2015 then Hoboken Assistant Superintendent Dr. Miguel Hernandez was a finalist for the Hoboken Superintendent position but lost out to Miss Johnson who was already at least 7 years into posing as Dr. Johnson from Boonton, NJ. It is certainly worth considering whether Miss Johnson would have been as competitive of a finalist as Dr. Hernandez if the true nature of her lack of educational attainment was known at the time. To be clear, Miss Johnson had her certificate at the time. That is not in debate. What is also without debate is that her doctoral degree would not be earned until more than 7 years later in August of 2022.

While something like this is hard to believe and comprehend, you can read it for yourself from the April 2015 Hoboken Reporter.

The Hoboken School District had enjoyed a succession of superintendents with their doctorate. First there was Dr. Mark Toback, then there was interim superintendent Dr. Richard Brockel. Based on the field of finalists in 2015, the next Superintendent in Hoboken was also likely to have a doctorate.
