Summer Programs: Hoboken School District
The following is a list of summer programs that will be offered by the Hoboken Board of Education:
At Wallace there will be a Reading First Program from 6/29 to 7/31 for K, 1 and 2, 5 days a week. There will also be a special ed program at Wallace from 7/7 to 7/31 for selected students based on IEPs and student needs. This will involve students from preK to grade 5.
At Brandt there will be a Read 180 program for students from grades 4 to 8. Students will be recruited to the program based on reading scores. There will be 2 to 3 classrooms (30 to 45 students). This will run from 6/29 to 7/31.
At Hoboken High School, there will be a summer program for students to remediate academic failures from the school year. There will also be a School Based Youth Services program for incoming 9th graders that will run for July. Both these programs serve students form Hoboken High school and AJ Demarest.
