Curriculum Committee, Petrosino speak to Calabro PTO

On Tuesday evening, May 26, Dr. Petrosino spoke with members of the Calabro Parent Teachers Organization from 7:00pm to 9:00pm at Calabro School. Petrosino presented on development efforts, progress of the committee, curriculum philosophy, professional development, and planned implementation strategies. He also spoke about his own background, the State of NJ curriculum audit of Summer 2007, a number of programs he has helped bring to the district that are intended to support and be consistent with the curriculum rewriting efforts. After the presentation, Petrosino and the members of the Curriculum Committee took part in a 45 minutes Question and Answer period. Petrosino has been invited and will speak at the Wallace PTO meeting on Wednesday, June 3rd at 7:30pm. Like the Calabro PTO Meeting, the general public is also invited to attend.
