Today was the first meeting on the summer for the Hoboken Curriculum Committee. The Committee will meet for the next month (July 14-August 14) at Calabro School and will make significant progress toward adding more detail to the curriculum mapping that was finished at the end of the 2007-08 school year. Over 50 district faculty were on hand for the first day. The group included about 20 new members to the Committee. Over the next three days, there will be a new member orientation headed by Dr. Petrosino while the veteran members of the Committee will continue with curriculum articulation. Today, the Committee completed 6th grade MYP planning while Primary and Secondary areas of focus for the new members were decided upon.
