Acting Commissioner Dr. Allen McMillan Visits Hoboken Dual Language Charter School - December 19, 2022

Acting Commissioner Dr. Allen McMillan visited Hoboken's Hola Dual Language School along with a number of educators and politicians on Monday, December 19, 2022. The Acting Commissioner learned how the school provides student education in Spanish and English in order to develop engaged, bilingual citizens. 

HoLa utilizes a 90-10 immersion approach to provide a robust academic curriculum through instruction in both Spanish and English, with a range of opportunities for creative expression and experiential learning.

The group toured classrooms and was shown how HoLa is leading the way for bilingual education in NJ.
