Congratulations to those selected in the random lottery today. There were 21 HoLa siblings and 23 open spots in the Kindergarten lottery. HoLa received over 700 applications for the 2020 school year- breaking all records! The full waitlist for each grade will be added to the Hola website on Tuesday, January 21st.

This is the program I wanted in the Hoboken Public Schools but people like Kids First "reform" Board members Theresa Minutillo, Roe Markle, and Carrie Gillard voted no and said there was "no interest from the community." 

It is also the school that Board members Tom Klupfel, Irene Sobolov and Leon Gold tried to have its charter revoked. 

It is also the school that Hoboken Teachers Association President Gary Enrico often criticized for having racist parents. 

Congratulations to the winners of the lottery. I hope most of the 656 families who were not selected find some place to attend other then the failing Hoboken Public Schools.
