Hoboken/NYC/Metropolitan area residents are encouraged to tune into Fox 5 between 7am and 10am.

According to the blog:

Tell your Hoboken and Theatre friends to tune into GOOD DAY NEW YORK on FOX 5 on Tuesday, April 19th from 7am - 10am to catch a glimpse of Julie Chang's GLEE segment coming live from Hoboken High School. Special guests include Paula OHaus and the Hoboken High School theatre students.

The GLEE feature will showcase many of the favorite songs from "Hairspray" the Musical-performed by the cast.

CONGRATULATIONS TO THIS YEAR'S "HAIRSPRAY" CAST AND TO PAULA OHAUS FOR HER CONTINUED SUCCESS!

This live broadcast comes on the heels of a fair amount of controversy surrounding the nationally acclaimed director Paula Ohaus. Last week at a Hoboken Board of Education meeting, Ohaus claimed to have felt harassed for the last couple of years by certain individuals of the Hoboken Board of Education:
“The past two and a half years have been very difficult,” Ohaus said. She said that morale has been low in the school system, and she believes she has not had the support of the Board of Education. “I felt incredibly harassed and I have a lot of e-mails to prove that,” she said. Ohaus added that she believes she’s worked “in an environment of fear.” -The Hoboken Reporter

Hopefully, this controversy will be in the background and this Fox 5 broadcast will be about the incredibly talented students of Hoboken High School and the professional support staff that Ms. Ohaus and Mr. Jarad Ramos have brought together. Well done. "Break a leg!"
